Client news: Magic of Christmas Extended as a Farm is Transformed into a North Pole Adventure

FCM is delighted to be working with two farmers who are making their winter wonderland bigger and even more magical this year, as they bring back the North Pole to their Staffordshire farm.

Over 14,000 visitors experienced the North Pole Adventure in its first year at the National Forest Adventure Farm, near Burton on Trent.

To add extra sparkle to this year’s event, the owners have made a number of improvements, including extending the attraction to a huge 600m², additional opening hours and the inclusion of a new musical activity.

The immersive experience takes in the sights, sounds and smells of Christmas in a magical journey to the North Pole and despite increased opening hours to meet demand, a number of popular sessions have already sold out.

Families will find themselves transported to Father Christmas’ home town at the North Pole. They can explore the Victorian High Street complete with sweet shop and pub. The Elves need the children’s help sorting parcels and fixing the sleigh. Under the Northern Lights they’ll meet the magical talking Polar Bear, make gingerbread men with Mother Christmas before meeting Father Christmas and stopping off at the elves workshop to collect a gift.

New for 2018 is the Music Room, which will feature a singing reindeer who’s in a muddle and needs the children’s help with musical notes so he can find his voice. ‘Silvermist’ (named after a type of fir tree) the Reindeer was named by fans of the Adventure Farm in a recent vote on Facebook. The reindeer is just one of the added extras to feature in the festive experience located in one of the farm’s original barns.

Owners Ivor and Tom Robinson wanted to create the ultimate Christmas experience and have set about carefully recreating every detail in the traditional festive celebration at the North Pole as part of the fully immersive journey.

“We are so excited to open the North Pole Adventure again this year,” said Ivor. “Christmas is such a magical time of year and we wanted to create something that really captures the essence of Christmas spirit. We didn’t want to rest on our laurels but continue to improve in an effort to delight our visitors and offer a magical experience which creates memories for all the family.”

The North Pole Adventure opens on Saturday 17th November and will run on selected dates all the way up to 24th December.

Tickets start from £18 for children and £10 for adults and include entrance to the farm, as well as the 1hour and 45 minute fully immersive Christmas trip to the North Pole.
