How we work

Our clients often tell us that we are unique, because it is great to have PR & Communications specialists on hand - when they need us - to deliver great results for their business or organisation!

Check out our FAQ's to see why we are unique in our approach:

How is FCM different to a retained agency?

The big difference is that you do not have to commit to a monthly fee to retain us.  We will still build long standing relationships (that's important to us) and will quote for work on a project-by-project basis. Our freelancers have a broad range of expertise and experience and are prepared to work from half a day or more. Our priority is to provide you with the PR & Communications expertise to meet the needs of your business.

What sort of PR & Communications expertise can FCM provide?

The world is your oyster!  Seriously, between our team we have experience in most areas.  And, if we don't, we will know someone we can put you in touch with.  Whatever your communication or public relations need, FCM can provide flexible, professional and friendly expertise tailored to your needs.

Will we be able to start work for you immediately?

Yes, it is our priority to begin commissioned work as quickly as possible.  We have been known to start work same day but as always, a bit of planning ahead can pay dividends for all parties.

Will you know who is working on your project or campaign?

Absolutely!  If you're based in the Midlands you will get to meet the person working on your project.  If you commission work from around the globe or elsewhere in the UK we usually use telephone conferences to keep in touch which works well for everyone.

How do we quote for the work?

The first step is to arrange a call or meeting to establish your needs.  We'll then go away and prepare a proposal and costings for you to review. It's as simple as that. Over the years we have recognised that certain services are more popular than others.  That's we are about to launch some new tailored Business Packages soon - watch this space for more details.

Would you carry out a free consultation?

Yes, in fact we'd welcome that. In these tough economic times it’s a top priority to think creatively and identify cost effective communication and PR opportunities for clients.  Please call for a chat – we’re always happy to help.
